Private Label & Low-MOQ Program
Most factories won’t discuss an order under a few thousand pieces. That single fact locks out an entire category of brand — the private label founder testing a first style, the boutique label that wants to grow gradually rather than gamble on a large first run. This program exists specifically for that gap.
How The Minimum Actually Works
100 pieces per style and colour is the floor across most knit and woven garments. Denim and a small number of other categories run slightly higher minimums due to how those production lines are set up, but there is no maximum — the same process scales from a 100-piece trial to a large repeat program without switching providers partway through.
What’s Included At This Order Size
A 100-piece order gets the same process as a larger one, not a stripped-down version of it:
The same sampling discipline — proto, fit, and pre-production sample, all approved before bulk starts
The same inline and final quality control, not a reduced inspection standard because the order is small
Full private label branding — woven labels, neck prints, hang tags, size stickers, custom packaging, and barcode application, all applied at the factory
Why Starting Small Is The Right Move, Not A Compromise
Testing one style at 100 pieces lets you judge sampling quality, communication, and inspection reporting on a small, low-risk order before committing to anything larger. That’s a genuinely better sequence for a new brand than a large first order placed on trust alone — and it’s exactly the concern raised repeatedly by first-time apparel sourcing buyers: how does a new brand build trust with a sourcing partner before risking real capital.
Who This Program Is Built For
Startup and boutique fashion brands are the core audience — see Private Label & Startup Brands and Boutique & DTC Brands for how this applies to those specific situations, including Amazon and e-commerce sellers sourcing their own private label line.
